會展站工程正穩步推展，港鐵公司及相關政府部門於11月12日在車站進行平頂典禮，標誌著將東鐵綫跨越維港延伸至金鐘站的新鐵路段工程邁進另一重要里程！車站平頂亦意味著「紅磡至金鐘段」的土木工程已經大致完成，站內現正安裝鐵路系統及進行裝修工程。
 
Construction of Exhibition Centre Station is progressing steadily. The station’s topping-out on 12 November marked another major milestone of the new railway extension which brings the East Rail Line across Victoria Harbour to Admiralty Station. It also signifies the substantial completion of the civil works of the Hung Hom to Admiralty Section. Installation of the railway systems and architectural finishes at the station are already underway.

在人煙稠密、大廈林立的灣仔北商業區興建新鐵路，令工程充滿重重挑戰！為克服空間限制，工程團隊須於2015年先臨時遷移灣仔北公共運輸交匯處、陸續重置鄰近的港灣道體育館及灣仔游泳池，並於工程期間透過分階段實施臨時交通管理措施，騰出空間建造會展站，過程中需要仔細規劃，盡量減低工程對交通及附近社區的影響。同時，工程團隊亦須要與附近基建項目就工地交接緊密配合，竭力推展工程。有賴社區的支持和配合，會展站工程得以順利進行。
 
Construction of new railway in the densely developed Wan Chai North commercial area is always challenging! To cope with space constraints, the project team had to first relocate the public transport interchange in 2015 and then reprovision the adjacent Harbour Road Sports Centre and Wan Chai Swimming Pool progressively, with temproary traffic management schemes implemented in phases throughout the works period to vacate space for the construction of Exhibition Centre Station. This requires meticulous planning to minimise the impact on the traffic and the community. At the same time, close coordination with the nearby infrastructure projects for site handover is required to take forward the project. Without the support and understanding of the community, Exhibition Centre Station would not have been able to take shape successfully.


灣仔北新車站新接駁

位於灣仔北中心地帶的會展站將成為嶄新的接駁點，方便世界各地商貿專業人士經會展站前往香港其中一個商貿與會議及展覽活動中心。車站將成為灣仔北商業區的一部分，為附近商廈、酒店及香港會議展覽中心提供鐵路服務。
 
Situated in the heart of Wan Chai North, Exhibition Centre Station will be the new entry point for business and trade professionals from all over the world to one of Hong Kong’s commercial hubs of conferences and exhibition activities. The station will become an integral part of the Wan Chai North business area serving nearby commercial complexes, hotels and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

會展站是採用三層設計的地底車站，設有兩個車站出入口連接區內現有的行人設施及附近商廈。

 Exhibition Centre Station is a 3-level underground station with two entrances connecting with the existing pedestrian facilities and adjacent office buildings.
